New Year. New Life

It has been awhile since my last post. We have been so busy that for a moment I lost the sense of time. My two months maternity leave went by in a blink of an eye. Life has changed since. It's no longer just the two of us. I am now officially a mother of two. We are now a family of four.
Our precious twinkies are now 9 weeks old. They are perfectly healthy and beautiful. I could not be prouder (insert a big wide grin). Please welcome Alexis and Aiden Tan. Aren't they the cutest babies ever ever..? ok, so naturally I am biased....but they are my daughter and son... my children. The miracle of life still amazes me.Alexis the big sister was 2.9kg at birth. She is now 5.2kg. She is the sweetest little girl ever...sweet child of mine.

Aiden, the lil brother was 2.7kg at birth is now 5.7kg. He is the most adorable feisty little boy.

Aiden and his cheeky toothless grin.

It is not easy to take good pictures of 2 babies together. Here is one with both of them looking funny (but still cute :P).

My babies, Mummy love you both till the end of time.

All I want for Christmas...

My momma-instinct is so strong now, I want a child. Like NOW. We saw this 'si-fu' who said hubs and I will have children naturally in 2 years time. 2 years?!! That is like freaking 730 days or 17520 hours!
Should we go against natural selection and seek medical assistance or sit back and have faith. I am not a person who can sit back and let nature takes it course. Patient is definitely not my name. And lets be realistic, we can't just rely on that 'divine' info (Hello! I major in Medical science) can we?
After much deliberation, we decided to proceed with scientific intervention and called up my OBGYN (whom earlier confirmed that I am 'reproductively' in good shape after loads of 'weird' tests) to kick-start the 'miracle' process. And then guess what, their lab is still under renovation. Bummer. Nothing can be done now.
Sigh... I got to wait for another month. Keeping fingers crossed. Well, looking at the bright side, if what the 'si-fu' claimed is true, and our 'scientific intervention' aka project mini alpha is a success, then we will just have more children. Perhaps we should just loosen up and enjoy the process of getting there. And oh, work the extra hours too ;)
